What shipping options do you offer?
  Most items will be shipped by FedEx or UPS Ground. Expedited 2 Day Air and Standard Overnight shipping may also be available. Please add the item(s) to your cart to see the available shipping options for your purchase.

Unless noted on the product page, most orders submitted by 1pm Pacific time (PST) will ship out the next business day.

Please also note that some large or heavy items may be shipped Truckline. If your item is shipped Truckline, please read below for more information.
Where do you ship?
  Currently we ship to the 48 contiguous states.
When will my order arrive?
  Please note that delivery time will vary by distance from the warehouse and date of shipment.

The following are estimated delivery times:**

  • Fed Ex or UPS Ground – estimated arrival in 2-6 business days

  • Fed Ex or UPS 2-Day Air – estimated arrival in 3 business days

  • Fed Ex or UPS Standard Overnight – estimated arrival in 2 business days

  • Truckline Shipments – estimated arrival up to 2 weeks

Shipping to PO boxes and APO addresses
  We currently are unable to ship to PO boxes or APO  addresses. Please supply a physical mailing address when filling out your shipping information.
What should I expect if my item is shipped Truckline?
  Items which are too heavy or bulky to be shipped FedEx or UPS are shipped Truckline. Truckline shipments incur added surcharges for shipping. Please add the product to your cart to calculate the surcharge. Truckline shipments can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. You must schedule a delivery appointment with the Truckline carrier. If you fail to return the carrier's call within a 24-48 hours or fail to schedule an appointment within the carrier's allotted time frame, storage fees will apply.

If a Truckline order arrives damaged or incomplete you must sign for the shipment as damaged or incomplete. Failure to do so means you have accepted and signed for the package "free and clear" and no damaged claim can be filed. Please read our Truckline Shipping Flyer for more information.
How much is my shipping?
  Backyard Ocean offers FREE Ground shipping on orders over $100. Please note that some items are too heavy or bulky to ship by Ground. These items must ship by "Truckline" or freight and will incur additional handling charges. Please add the item to your cart to calculate the surcharge. For orders below $100, the following charges apply for FedEx Ground shipments:

  • $6.99 for orders under $50

  • $9.99 for orders between $50-$99.99


Additional charges apply for expedited shipping options. These shipping charges vary based on the weight of your products and are calculated in your shopping cart once you provide your shipping state and zip code.
When will my order ship?
  Most orders shipped by FedEx or UPS which are submitted by 3pm Pacific time (PST) will ship out the next business day. Note that Truckline shipments take longer to ship. To track your order, you may click the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
